Now in its sixteenth year, the International a cappella Contest Leipzig once again offers young, up-and-coming a cappella groups a platform and a stage on which to present themselves and hone their skills. Emerging ensembles from around the world are invited to take part, where they will engage with a high-calibre jury, a curious and knowledgeable audience – and, not least, their fellow competitors.

With a single open category free of genre boundaries – as well as a range of events and activities extending beyond the competition itself – the qualifying groups will be encouraged to take away as much creative input, feedback and as many new contacts as possible.
