In the a cappella Masterclass, young ensembles participating in the Leipzig International a cappella Contest will have a chance to work with an experienced a cappella professional, exploring their potential in repertoire, sound, vocal technique and stage presence. Stephen Connolly – the iconic former bass of the British King’s Singers and founder of the International A Cappella School – has been leading this masterclass for several years now. With his expert ear and eye, infectious humour, and boundless enthusiasm, he regularly creates moments of creative insight and thrilling acoustic discoveries. The Masterclass brings all the participating groups together in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere and is open free of charge to the public. There’s no better way to learn and be inspired than in a shared setting like this!
Active participation reserved for Contest entrants
