Like so many vocal groups before them, anders grew out of the ambitions of a school band – and went on to turn pop music into something made entirely by mouth. Five boys who sing, five friends, five fine voices, performing songs that are modern, catchy and expressive. With this distinctive brand of a cappella pop – German lyrics drawn straight from life – they have already begun to attract attention well beyond their home turf.

Now they’re coming to Leipzig for a vocal mini-break across the pop landscape: close to the audience and very much of the moment. As is now tradition, this Sunday afternoon show is aimed at the whole a cappella family – and at the same time the perfect taster for anyone who might be tempted to experience the full anders package in the evening.
