This year, we’re excited to be welcoming one of Taiwan’s leading vocal groups to Leipzig. Voco Novo’s songs and arrangements are often influenced by vocal jazz, sometimes take a detour into the world of pop, yet they’re always infused with melodies, themes and colours of home. Soon after the group was founded, they won a string of awards at a cappella competitions in Taipei, Tampere and Graz. Besides the vocal scene in Asia, they’ve also thrilled audiences in central Europe, Scandinavia and the USA. Voco Novo plan to take the audience on a journey where music can be seen and images heard. We can’t wait to see and hear these superb a cappella ambassadors from Asia!
