In an astonishing listening experience that felt like an acoustic déjà vu, the International a cappella Contest Leipzig crowned a remarkably young ensemble from Georgia as its winners in 2025. The Bookmarks are seven exceptional vocal talents – with an average age of just sixteen and only performing together as an ensemble since 2023 – who captivated both jury and audience with a striking balance of effortless lightness and impressive musical maturity.

Their a cappella pieces, some of them self-composed, unfold in a delicate interplay between jazz and folk influences. In short, they are something truly special.
