Accent are a special a cappella group of today. The six accomplished singers, arrangers and instrumentalists all made music alone for a while and introduced themselves on the internet as solo artists. But being mutual admirers of each other’s work, at some stage they decided to join forces – and the six singers from five different countries on two continents started an ensemble together. For over a decade now, they’ve been recording music and touring Europe, America and Asia together to great success, performing vocal music very much in the tradition of Take 6 and The Hi-Lo’s. Accent’s great obsession is vocal jazz, and they’ve become an international a cappella supergroup with extraordinary proficiency, arrangements and harmonies – just listen for yourself!
